The sign of teenagers

I know the sign of teenagers.
They spend a long time in front of mirror.
When talking to their friends, they always whisper.
When asking about their days, they always say ‘I’ve had better’.

Taking a bath will last about an hour.
They won’t listen to you, I mean never.
They don’t really know what it means by ‘a letter’.
The question about their grade point average will never be answered.

They usually wear ‘out of this world’ shirt or sweater,
as they believe that they are a trend setter.
And that makes me become a debtor.
I learn all of these from my lovely daughter.
