How would I like to see my kids when they grow up?

Recently I had a chance to talk to other parents.
About my kids’ future, I was asked to give my comment.
They asked me what I would like my kids to do.
My answer was anything that they would love to.

They seemed to be quite puzzled when they heard the answer.
Why don’t you want to them to be an engineer or a doctor?
Actually they didn’t even believe me when I said so.
They thought that I just didn’t want to let them know.

Really I would allow my kids to be whatever they want to be.
They can be a doctor, an engineer, or a musician, you see.
I think that when you do what you love, you will be the best.
And that is my definition of my kids’ successes.

I used to study what was not in my interest.
I ended up to be a chemical engineer, the toughest job I’ve ever faced.
If only my parents just allowed me to do whatever I like.
The world will not know Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and the like!
